GOMSU Notice to Students on Withdrawal, Step Down and Probation Review in 2021

The Gombe State University (GOMSU) has released a notice to all students in the institution about withdrawal, step down and probation review. The notice is as follows;

The management of Gombe State University (GOMSU) on its 78th senate meeting has made some reviews on probation and step down. This was contained in a letter released by the management.

The review are as follows:

1. There will be no step-down, but students will be allowed to register all their courses within credit unit limit.

2. There will be no withdrawal in 100level, but students with CGPA OF 1.0 to 1.5 will be placed on probation and if they did not make improvement during their 2nd year they will be withdrawn at the end of the 2nd year.

3. 300 level students from the Faculty of science and education must go for their SIWES AND Teaching practice respectively before taking their carryovers (if any) in the preceding session.

The school also will start using five grading systems from the 2021/2022 session.
